1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy protects users, clients, providers, and Tanero. It applies to all Tanero accounts, integrations, websites, communications, automations, and data-processing functions.
2. Prohibited Uses
You must not use Tanero to:
- impersonate another person or misrepresent authority, identity, brokerage, property, credentials, or affiliation;
- commit fraud, deception, theft, extortion, money laundering, or unlawful financial activity;
- discriminate or facilitate unlawful discrimination, including housing discrimination;
- harass, threaten, exploit, defame, stalk, or invade privacy;
- send spam, commercial electronic messages without required consent, or communications lacking legally required identification or unsubscribe methods;
- place calls or send texts contrary to do-not-call, telemarketing, automated-dialing, call-recording, or consent laws;
- ignore, override, or evade a request not to be contacted;
- upload, obtain, enrich, scrape, disclose, or sell personal information without authority or lawful grounds;
- scrape, mine, copy, republish, or exploit MLS, listing, provider, or third-party data contrary to applicable agreements or law;
- send illegal, infringing, malicious, deceptive, or harmful content;
- distribute malware, phishing, credential theft, or security attacks;
- probe, overload, bypass, reverse engineer, or interfere with Tanero or provider systems;
- use Tanero to train, benchmark, or develop a competing platform without written authorization;
- use the Services in a manner that violates law, professional duties, provider policies, brokerage rules, MLS rules, or third-party rights.
3. Enforcement
Tanero may investigate, limit, pause, block, remove content, suspend features, or terminate accounts according to the severity and urgency of the conduct. We may preserve evidence, notify affected providers or authorities, and cooperate with lawful investigations.
4. Reporting
Report suspected abuse to team@tanero.ca with relevant account, message, date, and supporting details.
Policy Changes
Tanero may revise this Policy as the platform, risks, laws, provider requirements, or enforcement practices evolve. The current version and effective date will be made available with the Services. Material changes will be communicated where practicable or required by law. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, except where express consent is legally required.
